I know Journey To The West is one of the most popular asian stories ever, and there are dozens of manga adaptations, i wanted to check some of them out and see if anyone’s read any. Haha, yeah that also the first thing comes to mind after reading thread title. The one by Zheng Jian He. It’s a Manhua, but I think it still counts.

In China, it has the name of "Journey to the West" and it's created by Tianjin Shenjie Manhua. The first half of the comic is really good, they changed a lot of plots in the second half tho.
